Horizon Resources’ Grain Division operates a 110 car, concrete shuttle loading facility in Williston. Our terminal features two driveways, which can each receive grain at 20,000 bushels per hour and has two dedicated shipping legs capable of 54,000 bushels per hour combined capacity. Our terminal is supported by four sub-stations located in Watford City, Grenora, Zahl and Alamo, North Dakota.
Williston Grain Elevator Expansion — Coming 2027

Horizon Resources is investing in the future of agriculture in our region with a major expansion of our Williston Grain Elevator, scheduled to open in 2027.
The expansion will add approximately 740,000 bushels of grain storage capacity, giving area producers greater access to efficient, dependable grain receiving and handling services.
Designed to improve the movement and handling of commodities through the facility, the expanded elevator will enhance our ability to receive canola and spring wheat while adding dedicated space for canola at the terminal.
